The Uganda Martyrs Society exists to foster and spread the Catholic faith through devotion to the Uganda Martyrs, while promoting moral values, youth empowerment, economic and human development, environmental protection, and active civic engagement.
We strive to support communities—locally and globally—through compassionate outreach, and faith-based initiatives that inspire justice, dignity, and shared prosperity.
As more fruits of our efforts come to light, we:
Envision a society of conscientious faith practitioners who exemplify the lessons of sainthood and martyrdom in their spiritual and secular undertakings on a daily basis.
Intend to become the leading center for Christian dialogue, worship music, praise, prayer and pilgrimage, and reflecting the full richness of the culture of Continental Africa and the African Diaspora.
Envisage a research, teaching and mission outpost, serving as a permanent space for physical and digital repositories of information about Catholic holy men and women of African ancestry.
Aspire to build a worldwide network of Uganda Martyrs Clubs, bringing together children, youth and adult men and women of God, advancing wholistic human development in their local institutions, parishes and communities.
